The decision of the Intellectual Property Rights Court of March 18, 2024 in case No. SIP-938/2023 invalidated the decision of Rospatent (Federal Service for Intellectual Property) of June 8, 2023, which invalidated the granting of legal protection to a trademark under certificate No. 847078. The legal protection of a trademark under certificate No. 847078 is valid.

Consequently, Textilexpo JSC is the Rightholder of the ТЕКСТИЛЬЛЕГПРОМ/Textillegprom trademarks according to certificates No. 337678, 847078, legal protection for which is provided, including for Class 35 services - organization of exhibitions for commercial or advertising purposes; organization of trade fairs. This designation has been used by the copyright holder since 1998.

The trademark of the Rightholder refers to a protected means of individualization and remains valid throughout the territory of the Russian Federation, which allows the Rightholder to prohibit other persons from any use of an identical mark or a sign confusingly similar and will be recognized as a violation of the trademarks owned by Textilexpo JSC.
